The School's Seminars are organized by the head of the School and his associates who make the administration of the School. The first head of the School (or the director as he was called) was Franjo Grčević (1972–1981). He was succeeded by Mladen Kuzmanović who was the head of the School since 1982 till 1998 (as the assistant in 1972 and deputy director 1973–1981). Marko Samardžija, Krešimir Nemec and Ivo Pranjković were heads of the 28th Seminar (1999). Stipe Botica took over as the head of the School in 2000 and held the position until 2004. From 2005 till 2008, from 34th till 37th Seminar, the head of the Zagreb School of Slavic Studies was Krešimir Bagić. From 2009 till 2012, from 38th till 41st Seminar, the head of the Zagreb School of Slavic Studies was Krešimir Mićanović.
Apart from the director (head) of the School, the administrations consisted of deputy directors: Josip Vončina (1972), Stjepan Damjanović (1981-1991, as the assistant 1974-1977, 1980), Marko Samardžija (1990-1992), Mateo Žagar (1993-1995); deputy coordinators: Nebojša Koharović (1996-1998, as the assistant in 1999), Leo Rafolt (2005-2006), Krešimir Mićanović (2007-2008); Tomislav Bogdan (2009–2012); (programme) assistants: Predrag Jirsak (1973), Vinko Brešić (1978-1979), Vesna Kosovac (1979), Zvonko Kovač (1979), Borislav Pavlovski (1981-1987), Mirna Velčić (1981), Evelina Rudan (2001-2002, 2004), Boris Kuzmić (2003), Ivana Vidović Bolt (2007-2008), Anera Ryznar (2009–2012).
Account-keeping tasks were performed by the accountants (financial secretaries) Štefica Barbalić (1972–1976), Mira Soldatić (1982–1990) and Božena Jurčić (since 1976) and the duties of an administrative secretary were performed by Biserka Brozd (Kudrna) (1972–2002) and Nevenka Vručina (since 2003). Technical support was provided by Slavko Ribić (1972–1998). Since 2005 the activities of the Zagreb School of Slavic Studies are shown on its website, www.hrvatskiplus.org. The website has been edited by Ivana Brković (2005–2007), Dolores Grmača (2007), Nikolina Barišić (2008), Aida Korajac (2008–2011), Ivana Šijaković (2009–2012) and Ivana Eterović (2012). The site is produced by Dražen Karaman.
